time to give.

en verdad me frustra un poco estar ausente en este pequeño espacio que tengo en el internet. pero siempre hay oportunidad para un nuevo inicio. 
y este año, comenzó con una perspectiva distinta. 
ha sido un tiempo muy relajante, divertido y libre de la preocupación que viene con la perspectiva de negocio de las fotos. no me malinterpreten, es mi trabajo, pero más me importa la gente que fotografío que el dinero. 
pero este mes fue para dar.

yo creo que Dios le ha obsequiado a cada uno habilidades con el objetivo de bendecir a otros. y la fotografía es esa oportunidad para mí. 

este mes pude servir en una campamento de líderes juveniles que trabajan con jóvenes, ojo esto no es tan obvio como suena. pero volviendo al tema, tomé fotos toda la semana, de personas llenas de gozo y energía pero que sobre todo demostraba un deseo muy fuerte de seguir a Dios. 
y a pesar de que esta aventura fue agotadora, debido a las otras responsabilidades que tenía en el retiro, valió muchísimo la pena. 

cuando me senté a mirar las fotos en una pantalla mucho más grande, pude identificar rostros, emociones y momentos que tal vez me perdí por la locura del momento o me olvidé. 
fue así que una vez más estuve agradecida por la fotografía. 

aquí comparto con ustedes algunos de estos momentos y espero que los disfruten tanto como yo :).

i really dislike that I've been absent on this personal space of mine on the internet. but there is always time for a new fresh start.
and this year has began with a very different perspective. it has been fun, relaxing to not worry about the business aspect of photography. don't take me wrong, it is my job, but i care more about the people i portrait in my photos than money.
but this month was about giving.

i believe God gifts everyone with abilities to bless those around. and photography is that chance for me.

this month i was able to serve at a youth leaders retreat. i shot pictures all week long of people full of joy and energy but that displayed a great desire of pursuing God.
and even though this adventure was exhausting, due to the other responsibilities i had at the retreat, it was worth it.

as i sat down to look at all the pictures on a larger screen, i was able to identify faces, emotions and moments that i missed or forgot.
and once again i was thankful for photography.
