Makaha Beach

Warming up & Calentando.

Crecí en una ciudad de la costa, y tal vez esta sea la razón por la que el aroma de la brisa del mar es tan relajante y maravilloso para mí. Y por esta razón, siempre que tengo la oportunidad de visitar la playa lo hago. Y que mejor oportunidad que aquella en la que puedo combinar dos de mis cosas favoritas: playa & fotografía.

{I grew up in a city by the coast, and maybe this is the reason why the breeze of the ocean is so pleasant and relaxing to me. For this reason, every time i get the chance to visit the beach i do it. And what a better opportunity than the one in which i can combine two of my favorite things: beach & photography.}


Fue así como Ana, Ju y yo nos dirigimos a la playa Makaha de la Costa Verde de Lima. Previa llamada al "Muelas" para coordinar una "clasecita" y todo listo. Mis amigas brasileñas estaban ansiosas porque no solo sería la primera vez que nadaban en el mar del Pacífico sino también porque podían experimentar algo nuevo y divertido en un país extranjero. ¡Una gran anécdota para las vacaciones!

{This is how Ana, Ju and I headed to Makaha beach at the "Green Coast" of Lima. Just a previous call to "El Muelas" to coordinate a class and everything was ready. My brazilian friends were super excited not only because it was their first time swimming in the Pacific Ocean but also because they were going to experiment something new and fun at a foreign country. What an exciting anecdote for a vacation!}

Moment of truth & El moment de la verdad

 Con un poco de frío, humedad y las frías aguas características de nuestra costa, se lanzaron al calentamiento, a la clase sobre tierra  y luego a las amigables olas.

{With a little cold weather, humidity, and the cold waters characteristic of our coast, they started their warming up, the classes right on the ground first and then to the friendly waves.}
